welcome to thrift store gal! for my first post, i thought i'd share a couple of my favorite finds to date. the first is this clock that i found at a local thrift store a few years back. it was originally brown and gold, but with some black and silver paint, and the steady hand of my husband it ended up looking gorgeous! love the retro look of it!
sunburst clock: $2
next, this beautiful chair was found a couple of weeks ago for only $15! i sanded and stained the arms and legs, which were originally painted a light brown and gave the upholstery a good cleaning. the best part of this chair...it's a ROCKING CHAIR! love it!

Oh I totally saw this Laura (when I was checking out your blog last week) and I was soo jealous. I wish my husband liked the same style/lines that I do. You're one lucky girl.
