my original plan for this cute side table was to sand it and re-stain it a dark brown to match the rest of my living room furniture, but unfortunately it just wasn't working, so i decided to just paint it white.
isn't the detailing on the side awesome!

I was going to say something about that on Sunday. I then thought it had been there all along and felt stupid for thinking it hadn't. I am glad I am not as crazy as I thought! :)
I love it! I think Sheri has a few of those at her casa, but without the lovely details. I am jealous that you have a house that you can put your own touches on right now... you make me want to decorate!
As usual it looks terrific in white. The rounded side detail is beautiful with the curve design on the slipper chair and the curve of the leaves in the carpet.
